With technology being incorporated in so many different levels throughout fashion, innovation is without a doubt the future. Here are four examples of innovation that I find to be incredibly interesting:

1. The Queen of fashion innovation -- couture designer, Miss Iris Van Herpen. Now this dress is definitely not ready-to-wear, as it was created by crystalizing black and clear water after throwing it on the model. However, a whole dress made of nothing but water, to me is not only innovative but iconic.

2. Drones are slowly but surely being implemented in our lives everyday. But what would you do if you showed up to a show where the models where the clothes were being flown down the runway by drones? Is this the future of fashion? Do you think at some point models will be replaced by them altogether?

3. Sneaker brands like Nike have developed shoes that connect to your smart phone via Bluetooth. This shoe in particular, the Adapt BB, helps athletes to track their performances and goals.

4. Michael Kors smart watch. This is the more fashion-forward alternative to Apple's smart watch, but but an authentic, luxury look.
